Catch a Ride is a Carpooling app that allows users to post their traveling plans in order to share the travel costs.
The app is to connect people who are offering or requesting a ride to any place in SA
CREATE RIDE OFFERS/REQUESTS
- Specify your departure and destination areas
- Provide the trip date and time
- Tell other users how many spare sits you have available
- Provide some contact information.
TRIP MATCHING & SUGGESTIONS
- The app creates matches based on departure and destination locations
- The app also matches trips requests along a travel route
- After posting a trip the user gets trip suggestions to offer/request a ride from.
USER NOTIFICATIONS
- After posting trips, users will get notifications for matching trips, then
- The notified user will have to request/offer a ride to the matched trip
- Users will be notified of trip requests/offers, after which they'll accept or deny.
CONTACT SHARING
- Users' contact details will only be shared after acceptance of ride requests/offers
EXPLORE POSTED TRIPS
- The app will allow users to explore available ride requests and offers
- The users can then request/offer a ride to the listed trip of interest.
PAYMENTS
- The app will provide a trip cost estimate based on the route distance, but
